Adaeze Yobo (born Adaeze Stephanie Chinenye Igwe) is a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria,〔(Adaeze is the new MBGN )〕〔(Interview with the Vanguard Nigeria )〕 and is also a step-daughter of former football player John Fashanu, who is now married to her mother.〔(John Fashanu )〕 She pursued her childhood dream by representing Anambra in the MBGN pageant with 29 other girls.〔(How Adaeze emerged MBGN 2008 )〕 Like Ann Suinner before her, Yobo's platform was Sickle Cell Awareness; she also used her reign as a platform to showcase Nigerian talent.
